As we approach the holiday season, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to the families who allow us to be part of honoring and remembering their loved ones whose lives were tragically taken too soon due to crime. ❤️🕊️

We understand that the holidays can be an especially difficult time for those grieving the loss of someone they love. It is our sincere privilege to stand alongside these families, helping keep their loved ones’ memories alive and ensuring that they are never forgotten.

We warmly invite everyone to join us for our 23rd Annual Tree of Angels event, a special time to come together in love, remembrance, and support. You can honor your loved one by hanging a personalized ornament on our Tree of Angels, attending the event in their memory, and/or submitting a photograph to be included in our video tribute.

Every ornament, every photograph, and every person who attends represents a life that mattered, a family that continues to love, and a memory that will never fade.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for trusting us to be a part of honoring your loved ones. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to stand beside you, remember those taken far too soon, and remind every family that they are not alone.

Together, we honor their lives, cherish their memories, and keep their light shining. 🕯️❤️

We hope you will join us for our 23rd Annual Tree of Angels as we come together to remember, honor, and celebrate the lives of those we hold forever in our hearts.

We hope to see you at the Domestic Violence Awareness Walk hosted by Killeen PD on October 17!

🌧️ RAIN: 1 | WALK: 0
…but we’re coming back for the rematch! 💪👟

Our original Domestic Violence Walk may have been rained out, but the weather can’t stop a community that’s determined to stand together.

Saturday, October 17th, 2026, from 2:00–4:00 pm (the walk starts right at 2:00!) at Lions Club Park.

Bring your friends, your family, your umbrellas (just in case), and your best walking shoes. Let’s show that a little rain can’t wash away our commitment to supporting survivors and raising awareness. 💜

See you there—round two is going to be even better!

Remembering victims, supporting survivors, and recognizing the efforts of advocates and programs that help build stronger, safer communities. 💜

What began as a day to bring advocates and communities together in the movement to end domestic violence helped shape what we now recognize as Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM).

Today, the Day of Unity is a time to remember those whose lives have been lost to domestic violence, honor survivors, recognize the work of advocates, and come together in our shared commitment to ending family violence.

As we reflect on how far the movement has come, we also recognize the work that continues and the importance of standing together in creating a Texas free from family violence.

25 Years. We Remember. We Honor. We Stand Together.

Today, we remember the nearly 3,000 innocent lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the countless families, survivors, first responders, and communities forever changed by that day.

On this 25th anniversary, we honor every victim by remembering their lives, not simply the tragedy that took them from us. We recognize the courage of those who responded, the resilience of survivors, and the strength of families who continue to carry their loved ones’ memories forward.

As a victim advocacy organization, we reaffirm our commitment to standing beside victims and survivors, supporting families, amplifying their voices, and working toward a world where every person affected by violence is met with compassion, dignity, justice, and support.

We remember.
We honor.
We will never forget.
