🎗️ Help Us Support "Peace Out Cancer"! 🎗️

Each year, the Police Benefit Activities Association raises funds for breast cancer awareness, supporting great causes like Children’s Mercy Hospital, Susan G. Komen, and Infinity Smiles.

This year’s fundraiser is especially close to our hearts. Sergeant John Keck’s wife, Michelle Keck, has chosen Peace Out Cancer as our recipient charity! 💙

How you can help: ✨ Stop by Records (left side of the Belton Police Department lobby) to purchase stickers, patches, and keychains! ✨

Direct donations are also warmly accepted if you'd like to contribute directly.

If you have any questions or want to make a purchase, stop by the Records Department.

Let’s make this our most successful fundraising year yet! Thank you for supporting our community! 🙏✨

đź’ś Today is Purple Thursday! đź’ś

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and Purple Thursday is a day to wear purple to show support for survivors, raise awareness, and remind those experiencing domestic violence that help is available.

Pictured are the Victim Advocates from the Belton Police Department and Cass County Sheriff's Office at the Cass County Courthouse. Every Wednesday, advocates from both agencies attend the Adult Abuse Court docket, providing support, information, and assistance to individuals navigating the court process.

While October brings special attention to domestic violence, supporting survivors is something we do year-round.

The Cass County Sheriff's Office Victim Services Unit has sponsored an informational table at the courthouse throughout October, featuring educational materials and resources for those affected by domestic violence.

đź’ś Today, we encourage everyone to wear purple, show their support, and help spread the message that no one has to face domestic violence alone.

Whether you're ready to seek help, have questions about your options, or just need someone to talk to, the Belton Police Department Victim Services Unit is here to help.
