WOW! Thousands of people are filling the streets of Downtown Belton today! Families, kids in adorable costumes, lots of smiles, laughter, and LOTS AND LOTS OF CANDY! 🍫🍭👻

What an incredible sight to see our downtown filled with so much excitement and families making wonderful memories together! ❤️

🍬🍭 I’m beginning to think Downtown Belton should officially be named the CANDY CAPITAL OF TEXAS! 🍭🍬😅

🎶🐔 A Little Chicken Dance Fun in Downtown Belton! ❤️

Oh, how we love our charming town of Belton! ❤️

What a fun time at Polka on the Square! We caught this video clip of everyone enjoying the Chicken Dance, and what a sight it was! Lots of laughter, dancing, and good old-fashioned fun!

And talk about a BIG SCREEN TV! 😂 This one took up the whole intersection of East Street and Central Avenue! Now that’s what I call a big screen!

There’s just something special about seeing our community come together, sharing smiles, making memories, and enjoying the simple pleasures of small-town life.

This is what makes Downtown Belton so special! ❤️

🇺🇸 There’s something truly special about a small-town Fourth of July parade.

Many consider Belton’s Fourth of July Parade to be one of the finest small-town Independence Day parades in Central Texas. Our historic downtown provides the perfect backdrop as neighbors gather, generations make memories, and our community comes together to celebrate the freedoms we cherish.

It’s more than flags, floats, classic cars, marching bands, and children waving from the curb. It’s a reminder of who we are as a community and as a nation. It’s a celebration of patriotism, unity, and the values that have carried our country forward for generations.

This year feels especially meaningful as we celebrate 250 years of American independence. For two and a half centuries, countless men and women have sacrificed to protect the liberties we sometimes take for granted. Today, we honor their courage, their service, and the enduring spirit of our nation.

Thank you to everyone who participated in Belton’s Fourth of July Parade and to those who lined the streets to cheer them on. Your smiles, laughter, and patriotic spirit made it a day to remember.

May God continue to bless our community, the great state of Texas, and the United States of America.
