We’re proud to share a great feature from Rock River Current highlighting one of our own Boone County Sheriff’s Office deputies and what he does when he’s off duty, trading in his badge for the stripes of a D1 College football official and NFL game clock operator!

Whether serving the community as a Deputy Sheriff or helping keep things fair and safe on the field, Deputy Blair's commitment to service carries over both on and off duty.

Some of our Correctional staff traded in their uniforms for a slightly different look today as they hit the course for the Belvidere Police Department Officers Association Annual Golf Playday at Timber Pointe Golf Club!

The outing is held in memory of Larry Wirth Jr. and brings law enforcement, friends, and community members together for a great day and a great cause.

We’re not sure how they’ll score on the course, but they definitely get some points for committing to the uniforms!

Thank you to the Belvidere Police Department Officers Association for putting together another great event, and to everyone who came out to support it.

Good luck to our Correctional staff — and please make sure all four are accounted for at the end of the round!
