Hey Everyone!

For our final day of Fire Prevention Week!🔥🚒

Here's todays tip!

Lithium battery use is everywhere these days! 📱

To keep you safe when using these batteries follow these guidelines!

If it feels very hot 🛑stop🛑 using it immediately!

If the battery starts to swell, smells strange, leaks, smokes, pops, or hisses bring it outside!

These can be indicators the battery is bad!👎

See you all at our Open House tomorrow!

🔥Tomorrow is the day!🔥

Our Open House is taking place tomorrow at Bemidji Fire Station 1 (318 5th St NW)

See you there tomorrow for the fun event!🚒

Welcome to Day Four of Fire Prevention Week!🔥🚒

For tools and rides, charge outside!

Charge⚡ large items like e-bikes, scooters, and power tools outside when possible! Do not block exits when charging! ⚡

Thanks to the National Fire Protection Agency for this advice!

Have a great day!

Todays fire safety tip:

Lots of devices📱 charge off the same plug type (think USB-c)⚡

Chargers are designed for specific devices! Use the cord and charger that came with the specific device for best practice!

You can also use a cord and charger approved by the manufacturer!

Have a great day!
