BSMS Art and Drama students attended “Celebrate Creativity”, an event hosted by the Omaha Symphony Orchestra. Students participated in a variety of hands-on art, drama, music, and dance workshops, exploring how these creative disciplines work together to bring artistic expression to life. Thank you to Ms. Stroberg, Ms. DeWald, and Mrs. in den Bosch for providing these opportunities for our students!

🔬🏁 Science Club: Marble Race Track Challenge! 🏁🔬

Our science club members put their creativity and engineering skills to the test by designing and building their own marble race tracks! 🎢

Students experimented with different designs, tested how their tracks worked, and made adjustments to help their marbles race to the finish line.

It was a fun way to explore gravity, motion, speed, and problem-solving while working together as a team!🚀⚙️

🎲 Roll for initiative! Our Dungeons & Dragons club officially kicked off their first campaigns today!

So, what is Dungeons & Dragons? D&D is a collaborative storytelling game where students create their own characters and navigate fantasy adventures guided by math, strategy, and imagination. Far from just a game, it’s a powerhouse for learning, fostering high-level critical thinking, creative problem-solving, teamwork, and quantitative skills as players calculate outcomes and adapt to unexpected challenges.

We are so excited to bring this incredible club to BSMS for its very first year! We can’t wait to see the creative quests our students embark on. 🐉✨
