📝 Are you an aspiring writer? Working on something right now? Have an interesting idea for a story? Well, the Mary Duncan Public Library is the place to be this Saturday (10-17-26)! Local members of the North Carolina Writers' Network will be hosting a Write-In event!

📇 What's a write-in? It's a social gathering where you network, do a writing prompt, and/or work on your own work-in-progress — a great place to share ideas and meet fellow writers!

The Write-In starts at 10am in the library's conference room (319 S. Elm)! Don't miss it!

Shoutout to Benson's Buds N Blooms Garden Club! This morning (9-16-26), they donated mums, soil, mulch AND planted everything to spruce up the entrance area to the Mary Duncan Public Library's new location (319 S. Elm)! Thanks so much y'all! It looks great!
