🌟 STAFF SPOTLIGHT: Meet Ariel! 🌟

Ariel is the Lead Infant Teacher at Discovery Kids and brings more than three years of childcare experience to the classroom.

Working with children has been a passion of Ariel’s since she was in sixth grade. Today, one of her favorite parts of working with infants is watching them learn, grow and master the important skills that form the foundation for so much more.

Ariel hopes every child in her care feels safe and secure while also learning kindness. She loves turning on music and movement videos and watching the kids dance!

Outside of work, Ariel enjoys reading, watching movies and TV shows, cuddling her cats and playing games with her husband.

When asked why she loves working at Discovery Kids, Ariel summed it up simply: “I love teaching kids.”

We’re happy to have Ariel back at Discovery Kids!

🌟 STAFF SPOTLIGHT: Meet Taylor! 🌟

Taylor is a teacher at Discovery Kids who has been part of the team for three years and has five years of experience working in childcare.

For Taylor, working with children is meaningful and fulfilling. She loves how fun and engaged the kids are and enjoys helping them learn to care for one another and show kindness.

What makes Discovery Kids special to Taylor? The people. She appreciates how much the staff care about one another and the families they serve.

One of her favorite activities with the kids is dancing, and outside of work she enjoys painting and singing.

Taylor says, “We do our best and put our hearts into our jobs.” Her goal, even on the days when she has to set firm expectations, is for every child to feel happy, safe and cared about.

💙 Thanks for everything you bring to Discovery Kids, Taylor!

Growth doesn't always happen all at once.

Discovery Kids teachers continually observe and document children's development using Teaching Strategies GOLD, helping them plan activities appropriate for each child's abilities and needs. Parent-teacher conferences also give families opportunities to talk about progress and goals.
