Remembering Michael Haas
It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the unexpected passing of Michael Haas, a valued member of our community who dedicated his life to serving others.
Michael was a Volunteer Firefighter, EMT, Public Works employee, and Former Peace Officer. Through each of these roles, he gave his time, his service, and his dedication to helping protect and care for the people in our community.
His loss is deeply felt by his family, friends, fellow first responders, coworkers, and the many members of our community who had the privilege of knowing him.
Our deepest condolences go out to Michael’s family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. Please keep them, along with our Fire/EMS family and all those who worked alongside him, in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for your service, your dedication, and the lives you touched along the way. You will not be forgotten.
Rest in peace, Mike.

While attending the annual awards banquet at the National Interdiction Conference in Oklahoma City, we were honored to have Secretary of Homeland Security Markwayne Mullin as our guest.

Secretary Mullin shared personal stories of family and faith, provided insight into current Department of Homeland Security operations and future initiatives, and spoke about the importance of the proactive law enforcement efforts by the members of the National Criminal Enforcement Association.

He also took time to honor the brave officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their communities and our nation.

We are grateful for the opportunity to hear from a leader who recognizes the dedication and commitment of law enforcement professionals across the country.

A true patriot and strong supporter of law enforcement. 🇺🇸
