Grateful that 12 HCU members helped pack pet food, sort 300 handmade, donated, quilted placemats, 300 handmade “thinking of you” cards, and emotional support flyers for our clients. Their volunteerism will bring added joy to our clients this week as they receive their monthly pet food (thanks to our partnership with the Humane Society of SW Michigan) and their meals‼️ https://www.moodyonthemarket.com/honor-credit-union-employees-step-up-for-cu-kind-day/

This week, we were grateful to share an abundance of fresh, locally grown produce with our congregate meal clients and with those who purchased CSA boxes through the Berrien Community Foundation's "For Good Produce Project."

As the summer heat and challenging conditions continue, we're especially thankful for the dedication of our local farmers and agricultural workers. Their hard work, resilience, and care make it possible for our community to enjoy fresh, nutrient-dense foods. Every harvest they bring in helps nourish our neighbors, and we're deeply grateful for the essential role they play in supporting the health and well-being of our community.
