Its mind blowing how a fast a seemingly mild medical call can go 0 to 100 in the blink of an eye to possible life threatening. This is why we train and stay vigilant in our efforts, things change fast and decisions have to be made faster. Thanks to those who answered the call and played there key roles. Prayers for the patient and the family during this time.

If your going to burn please be cautious humidity is low and winds light and variable thru Wednesday. Fires can get away from you fast with these conditions. Please call non emergency dispatch number 662-746-5611 advise them you will be control burning so Fire services are not called out unless you call for help. Thank you.

We are 2 weeks out for the car show and touch-a-truck. If you would like to pre-register your car send us a message we'll get you taken care of. We are going to have a fun filled day, from different agency vehicles on display as well as heavy equipment, demonstrations. Free swag from different companies, and agencies, Smokey the Bear, Sparky the fire dog, and we will have some special ones on hand but you'll have to come and see who shows for yourselves. Their will be food vendors on hand as well as different craft vendors. Of course all the beautiful antique cars and trucks to check out. Its all for a great cause to help a local fire dept that burned to the ground April of last year and despite all that the still served their community. So let's help them get back on their feet and into a new home.We also want to shout out to our awesome sponsors: ExxonMobil, RaJam, Shackleford, Regions Bank, Manasco's Body Shop, Wayne Saxton, Carquest of Yazoo and Visit Yazoo with out their support it would be difficult to make an event like this possible. We have our sign out on Hwy 49 across from Dollar General in Bentonia where the event will be held.
