PUBLIC NOTICE!

NE A Street between NE Black Apple Lane and NE Park Street will be reduced to a One Lane Flagging work zone from 8:00am to 5:00pm Wednesday October 14, 2026 through Friday October 16th 2026.

This work to to repair City sewer lines.

If you are interested in serving as a member of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board (PRAB), the deadline to apply is this Friday, October 16. Board members must be registered voters, reside in the corporate limits of Bentonville, attend regular monthly meetings, and commit to a three year term. SE A Street between SE 2nd Street and SE 3rd Street will be closed 9:00am to 2:00pm Tuesday October 13, 2026.

This closure is to complete the utility work and restore the road way.

NE A Street between NE Park Street and NE Cub Circle will be reduced to One Lane Flagging work zone from 7:00am to 3:30pm Tuesday October 13, 2026.

Signal and Street Teams will be working to remove old, non-functional, in-street warning devices and preparing to upgrade the RRFBs.

Bentonville’s Shred-It + Electronics Recycling event is coming up Tuesday, October 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This event is open only to Bentonville city-limit residents and registered Bentonville businesses. Preregistration is required.

📍 Behind Fire Station 1, 800 SW A Street
📄 Up to six boxes of documents for shredding
💻 TVs, computers, phones, printers and other electronics accepted
📺 CRT televisions: $20 each
