The Berea Police Department is seeking dedicated community members who are interested in serving alongside our officers and supporting public safety initiatives throughout the city.

As a member of the Auxiliary Unit, you may assist with:
✅ Community events
✅ Traffic and pedestrian safety details
✅ Special events and community outreach
✅ Various support functions for the Police Department

UPDATE: Power has been restored

TRAFFIC ALERT:

A number of traffic signals are out on W. Bagley Road in Berea and on Bagley Road into Olmsted Falls. Please be careful if you are traveling in the area. This outage is also affecting businesses and homes in the area. First Energy has been alerted to the problem, but we do not know the cause.

Ptl. Carey and Det. Tompkins are out at the Browns Facility for this donation drive until 11am. If you can, please donate to our food pantry. Needed items include paper products and personal hygiene items.

The Key Club at Berea Midpark High School dropped by to deliver this "Thank you" poster to the department. The Key Club is a group of civic minded students that do wonderful things for our community. We have said it before, but we are blessed to have so many community focused organizations doing great things to better our greater community!
