Heartfelt Thank You to Granite Care Plus!

The officers and members of the Bayville, Manitou Park, and Pinewald Pioneer Volunteer Fire Companies wish to express our sincere appreciation to Carlos Castaneda Villela and the entire team at Granite Care Plus of Bayville, NJ, for their extraordinary generosity in restoring our Volunteer Firefighters Memorial following a senseless act of vandalism.

This memorial honors the brave firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty and stands as a lasting tribute to their courage, dedication, and service.

Carlos and Granite Care Plus generously donated their time, expertise, and materials to restore the damaged monument at absolutely no cost.

Their kindness and commitment to our community have helped preserve a sacred place of remembrance, ensuring our fallen firefighters continue to receive the honor and respect they deserve.

We encourage our friends, neighbors, and fellow firefighters to remember and support this outstanding local business that stepped forward when our community needed help.

Your generosity will never be forgotten, just as the heroes honored by this memorial will never be forgotten.

Gone But Never Forgotten.

The officers and members of the Manitou Park Volunteer Fire Company extend our sincerest condolences to the Flanagan family, Ridgeway Volunteer Fire Company, and the New Jersey Forest Fire Service following the unexpected passing of Chief Brian Flanagan.

Chief Flanagan was more than a chief. He was a dedicated firefighter, a respected leader, a loving husband and father, and a good man who devoted himself to serving others. His loss is deeply felt throughout the fire service, and his legacy of leadership, dedication, and brotherhood will never be forgotten.

During this incredibly difficult time, our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and brothers and sisters at Ridgeway. May you find strength in one another and comfort in the memories of a man who gave so much to his family and his community.

Rest in eternal peace 3400, Chief Brian Flanagan.

We’ve got it from here.

🚒 A Special Thank You from Manitou Park Volunteer Fire Company 🚒

The members of the Manitou Park Volunteer Fire Company would like to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to Mayor Cradle and Council Members of the Borough of South Toms River for their continued support and for the purchase of our new Chief’s vehicle.

For nearly 50 years, the Manitou Park Volunteer Fire Company has proudly served the residents of South Toms River. The continued support of the Mayor, Council, and community allows our volunteers to have the equipment and resources necessary to respond when our neighbors need us most.

We would also like to extend a huge thank you to Elite Vehicle Solutions, our upfitter, for their outstanding work on the new vehicle. We were especially proud to have them showcase our new Chief’s vehicle at the recent New Jersey Fire Expo in Wildwood, NJ.

We are extremely grateful to everyone who helped make this new vehicle a reality. We look forward to continuing our tradition of proudly serving and protecting the Borough of South Toms River for many years to come.

Nearly 50 years of service — and still going strong.
