Presenting another beautiful set of graphics by Christine Youn and Zahra Anwar! This slideshow is an incredible summary of the diverse stories that People's Park has been host to, and the culture and history that it carries to this day.

This is a reminder that the Suitcase Clinic, People's Park Committee, and our allies at the Berkeley Outreach Coalition will not stop trying to combat the onslaught of dangerous misinformation around People's Park.

Members of the Suitcase Clinic would like to encourage anyone who wishes to advocate for either side of the issue of People's Park development to do their research before taking a stance. For instance, attend more than one People's Park Committee meeting, contribute your time and energy to outreach efforts, and get to know some of the residents before attempting to speak on their behalf. Most importantly, understand your positionality with regards to this issue.

You will do well to remember that any misinformation on the topic of homelessness has the potential to be dangerous. Do not arm people with misleading information or rumors to make them feel justified in committing acts of discrimination or violence against the most vulnerable members of our community.

This graphic by Vienyen Hopham tackles gender disparities in homelessness. Swipe to learn about additional risk factors for womxn experiencing homelessness as well as action items YOU can take to address issues such as period poverty and the lack of safe, affordable housing for womxn.

🌟WOMXNS CLINIC TO GO BAGS🌟

Starting this upcoming Monday, February 8th, Womxns Clinic will be offering to-go bags from 4-5 pm (operating through the Berkeley Outreach Coalition)

The lovely people at Womxns will be offering first aid supplies, shower and bath supplies, feminine hygiene supplies, a warm meal and snacks, hand warmers, and other winter supplies!

Were you feeling inspired by the Save People's Park event last week or just unable to attend? Do you want to make the park a safe place of community?

You're in luck, People's Park Committee () will be hosting a workday this Friday (2/5) at 3 pm.

Come to discuss new park projects, action and emergency response, media and arts projects, mutual aid and direct services, and more!

ATTENTION: PROTEST TO SAVE PEOPLE'S PARK THIS FRIDAY

This Friday, January 29 at 3 pm, join us in protesting the beginning of construction at People's Park! Food will be provided by Food Not Bombs, and the People's Park Committee will hold a meeting afterwards for those interested.

Bring your own signs if possible, though some will be available for use. Follow on IG for the zoom link and more info. You can also sign up for a text alert system by texting SAVETHEPARK to 81257. Make sure to take pictures of your signs and the barricade with the tag

The Berkeley Community Safety Coalition is hosting a memorial service for community activists on Saturday, December 12th from 3:30 to 5:30 pm! Come to uplift community members who have lived and died on the streets if Berkeley as well as support those who continue to make "Good Trouble."
