VILLAGE OF BERKELEY
OFFICE OF THE MAYOR
A Letter from Mayor Bob Lee
Dear Berkeley Residents,
I would like to share a few important updates about upcoming events in our community. These events provide opportunities for residents to stay informed, get involved, and enjoy time together as neighbors.
Berkeley Public Library Renovation Information Sessions
The Berkeley Public Library will be hosting two informational sessions to discuss current renovation plans and the upcoming November 3rd advisory referendum.
Residents are encouraged to attend one of the following sessions:
Saturday, October 10th | 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Monday, October 12th | 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Both sessions will take place in the lower-level meeting room of the Berkeley Public Library.
These sessions offer residents an opportunity to learn more about the proposed renovations, ask questions, and become better informed about the upcoming advisory referendum.
Halloween Community Trick-or-Treating Event
Halloween is just around the corner, and I am pleased to announce a special community partnership!
The Berkeley Police Department, Berkeley Neighborhood Watch, and Berkeley Public Library are joining together to provide a fun, organized trick-or-treating experience for Berkeley children and families.
Event Details:
Date: Saturday, October 31st
Time: 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Meeting Location: Berkeley Public Library
Children and families are invited to gather at the library, where groups will be organized for chaperoned trick-or-treating throughout our community. Members of the Berkeley Neighborhood Watch and Berkeley Police Department will help lead the groups.
Registration through the Berkeley Public Library is requested.
This event is an opportunity to celebrate Halloween while bringing neighbors, families, and our local public safety partners together.
Building a Stronger Berkeley Together
Our community is strongest when residents stay informed, participate in local events, and support one another. Whether you attend an informational session at the library or join us for Halloween festivities, your involvement helps make Berkeley a connected and welcoming place to call home.
On behalf of the Village of Berkeley, I want to thank our community partners, volunteers, and residents for their continued commitment to our village.
I look forward to seeing you at these upcoming events.
Sincerely,
Robert E. Lee Jr.
