🎃 Calling all trick-or-treaters! 🎃
Show off your Halloween costume in the Children's Department this Friday (10/30) or Saturday (10/31) and walk away with a free Halloween goodie bag! Each spooky surprise pack comes with stickers, a stamp, and a secret mystery item. We want to see your coolest, funniest, and scariest outfits, so come say Boo! before the bags vanish into thin air! (Available while supplies last).

🍁 Big things are happening at the Berlin-Peck Library this November! 🍁
We are so excited to bring you a month packed with hands-on creativity and brand-new community resources. Mark your calendars for these two amazing highlights you won’t want to miss:
🤖 Makerspace Open House (Saturday, Nov. 14th, 10:30am–12:00pm): Come see our 3D printer in action, try a building challenge, and learn how your family can use this creative space!
🤖 Toy Lending Library Grand Opening (Thursday, Nov. 12th, 11:00am–12:00pm): Thanks to Traveling Toys and the Community Foundation of Greater New Britain, you can now borrow toys just like books! Come celebrate, play, and explore.

🥳 Something new is happening at the library! 🎉
The Makerspace is open! It's a hands-on space where you can build with LEGOs or MagFormers, make stickers and buttons, program Ozobot robots, and work on all kinds of craft projects. We even have a 3D printer! Send us your design and staff will print it for you.
A few things to know:
• Appointments are required (hours and booking are on our website)
• A completed User Agreement is needed before your first visit
• Ages 12 and up may use the space on their own. Ages 6–11 need an adult with them.
• You'll need a library card from a Connecticut public library
