Do you remember the 1952 Berne Centennial Pageant? This is a flyer that was sent out before the pageant giving some folks advance access to the best tickets. The bottom section includes some last-minute pleas for additional props and vehicles that could be used in the historical parade, which was led by a 12'2" man in early period clothing was set to lead the parade (second photo).

It's that time of the year again! It's time for our third annual Cemetery Walk at MRE! Come learn about notable residents from Berne's past! Comment below, call, or come sign up in person!

We will attempt to livestream the walk this year for those who can't make it. The last two years have been really windy, and it made recording sound impossible. Cross your fingers with us for a calm day!

Give Like Dolly Day is Friday, September 25 (9/25). Over 1000 children in Adams County are currently registered for Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. Help us continue this amazing program that provides books to children 0 to age 5. A donation of $31 would cover the cost of 1 child for 1 year! However, any amount is appreciated. Call or stop by the library for more information.
