Bethany College - Dept. of Social Work Through Bethany's Social Work program, students are prepared to work with individuals, families, groups, organizations and communities.

Fully accredited since 1984, the program is the only private college in West Virginia accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. This enhances employment opportunities and provides up to a year's advance standing in graduate education for the Master of Social Work Degree. The Social Work program provides students with close student/faculty relations and an average class size of 10-15 students. The depth of field preparation provided is a major strength. Students gain professional experience through their internships, as well as in community service through projects.
