Families had a great time celebrating the PA One Book selection, The Great Cookie Kerfuffle, by participating in a shared reading, playing Who Stole the Cookie, and making a delicious chocolate chip cookie recipe. Thank you to the Office of Commonwealth Libraries for the free books and bookmarks that each child received!

If anyone knows the family of the little Fairy Princess that won (at 5:57 in the video), please have them come to the Library to pick up her prize bag. It will be at the front desk in the Children's Department. Thanks!

Busy fingers writing! 3rd graders at Ave Maria Academy wrote letters to their prospective pen pals this afternoon. An “All About Me” page helped to jump-start the correspondence. The students’ pen pals will be from St. Thomas More Manor and other local senior living centers.

We love intergenerational programming and thank our partners at WQED for helping to set this project in motion.

👻 A Huge Thank You! 🎃

We want to send a massive thank you to Christine M. Soltice of SolsticeNightSky Productions for moderating and producing Saturday’s haunting panel event, Ghostly Apparitions & Otherworldly Beings!

It was an absolute blast filled with frights, insights, and spine-tingling stories. A special shoutout to our incredible panelists: Ryan O'Shea, Damon Keys, Jonathan Graef, Aurora Swanhilde, and Ed Kelemen.

Thank you to Robert Kalil of Typical Skeptic Podcast for live-streaming the event, and photographers Kathleen Wilson and Nathaniel Madden for capturing all the spooky moments!

Also, thank you to everyone who joined us. We hope you enjoyed the thrills!
