Spooky Painting Class with Lupita Nava went so well tonight! The artists loved her patient and encouraging teaching method as well as the freedom to add their own flare. The snacks and cold drinks were appreciated as well 😉

Fun storytime this morning about spooky animals! We learned the ASL signs for spider, mouse, and snake, read three cute (only slightly spooky) stories about these animals, learned a Halloween version of Brown Bear, Brown Bear, pretended our play scarves were spiders with the song “There’s a Spider on the Floor” by Raffi, chased bubbles to the song “Bat Wing Boogie” by Tiny Melody House, did a coloring craft to take home, and stopped for a break to watch the train go by.
