BVMS Associated Student Body creates exciting events based on student-generated ideas to encourage purposeful participation from all grade levels. ASB works to serve the student body and provides countless opportunities for pur students to be the best versions of themselves.

Here are some wonderful things happening at BVMS that were inspired by our AMAZING teachers and staff!

From Ms. Long, 8th Grade Honors Social Studies teacher, W.E.B. advisor, and C.R.E.W. Club advisor: C.R.E.W. Club decorated a beautiful informational display in the halls for everyone to enjoy!
Ms. Long also has an inspirational message to her students on her white board today. 🌟

From Mr. Braun, the librarian. He updated the library display for Women's History Month. They have some exciting books highlighted for the kids this month. 📚

In celebration of International Women’s Day Ms. Deborah Lukic, the English Learner and 8th grade English teacher purchased flowers to pass out to students today. 💐🌹🌸

Spring sports are coming up! Tryouts for soccer, cheer, boys volleyball, and track begin next week. Tryouts for cheer, boys volleyball and track & field begin on Monday March 6th! Soccer tryouts start on Tuesday. (Each grade has a different day for soccer.) Please see the flyer for details. Go Bulldogs and good luck to everyone. 💚🌟💚

The BVMS PTA Executive Board Slate was announced at our last PTA General Meeting. Join us at the next PTA meeting on March 23rd for the final vote of the 2023-24 BVMS PTA Executive Board.

As we celebrate Black History Month, our students were treated to a special inspirational discussion. The discussion was lead by some of the corporate and entertainment GIANTS, that just happen to be BV and HM Alumni. These very successful alumni were all apart of Beverly Hills integration program. They went through the civil rights era, the end of Jim Crow, and they lived out The supreme courts most historic ruling “Brown v Board of education” that ended segregation in public schools. They shared their experience about the integration process, how the Jewish and black community came together during a difficult time and the success they had and continue to have. Thank you PTA leaders and BVMS administration for organizing this for our students! 💚

Attention 5th, 6th, and 7th graders in BHUSD! The Pupsters are starting their cheerleading tryouts Monday February 27th from 3:30-5:00 in the BVMS Fitness Center (formally the MPR.) The first meeting will be informational AND clinic #1 of 3. Can’t wait to see you there! GO BULLDOGS 💚🎉💚

Coming soon! The Bulldog Fitness Center is almost ready! Last year the PTA funded Dr. Skon’s vision for a workout room. The old MPR has been in the process of a well needed transformation! The floors were changed and the equipment as been delivered! We can’t wait to get started!!! 💰💰💰💰💰💰💰These are your PTA dollars at work. Don’t forget to donate to the current fundraiser going on right now! 💚🏋🏻‍♀️💪🏼💚

This week, students will have opportunities to engage in activities to support their PHYSICAL WELLNESS and participate in the Wellness Fundraiser to support the BVMS PTA Annual Fund.

Every FIRST Thursday of each month will be Community Service Thursday at BVMS! There will be great opportunities for students to earn the hours they need, and give back to our community! 💚

The BVMS SOUP-er Bowl Donation Drive benefitting Westside Food Bank starts tomorrow! Please pick up a can or more & have your kiddo bring it to the bin at Elm Drive. 🥫
