So much fun at the Spooky Walk. We are BLOWN away by the attendance. Thank you all for coming out and being patient. Next year—bigger and better!

Also, the delicious hot coco was from our friends at Rebel Coffee and Creamery! Huge thank you to them for their support!!!

We are all busy and not everyone has time to volunteer or sift through catalogs, we see you! The PTO will ALWAYS take direct donations. No fuss! And you can feel better about recycling the next fundraising or deleting the next fundraising request.

Some of the things your donations go towards:

Teacher Gift Cards
Staff Support (lunches, treats)
Enrichment Programs
Field Trips
K Shirts & Welcome Book
Community Event
Coffee for Parents on Walk to School (hopefully the Spring!)
Snacks for the Nurse
Back Up Clothes and Underwear
Administration Costs - websites, signs, insurance

If you want a say in HOW the money is spent, please come to a PTO meeting. We are very transparent and conscientious about spending.

𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗮𝗵 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆’𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗢𝗞𝗬 𝗪𝗔𝗟𝗞 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗸𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝟲 𝗽𝗺 !
ＳＰＯＴＬＩＧＨＴ ＭＯＭＥＮＴ: The event tonight will also be featuring a school wide art project in correlation with Hispanic Heritage month! Over the last few weeks, our students have been hard at work designing their very own paper lanterns after learning about Dia De Los Mu***os (The Day of the Dead) that is traditionally celebrated in November. Tonight the school will be lit by 300+ paper lanterns designed by our amazing students who have been working so hard on them to be ready for tonight’s festivities ! You won’t want to miss it!

🎃 SPOOKY WALK is 𝗡𝗢𝗧 a drop off event !
👻 Costumes are encouraged !!!! No props please!
🎃 REBEL COFFEE will be on site serving up hot chocolate along with a PTO sponsored toppings bar while supplies last
👻 PLEASE STAY ON THE PATH - the spook level is kindergarten and below friendly 🙂 Think sparkly ghosts and fun music and decorations.
🎃Festivities kick off at 6pm and end at 7pm
👻There will be a spooky story guest reader tonight that will be making Hannah HISTORY !(𝘛𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘶𝘴, 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘰𝘯’𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 !!!!!)
🎃 Hot Cocoa and toppings are free - a PTO Venmo will be up for anyone who would like to contribute to help fund all the activities and programs we help bring to Hannah with your help ! 👻🖤

What a week full of amazing events! And to close out the week, the Hannah SCHOOL STORE IS BACK!!!!

We are restocked and ready to go! The Hannah School Store returns this Friday, October 16th from 1:30 pm through 2:30 pm.

For those of us new to Hannah this year, the School Store is a fun mobile cart that makes its appearance monthly! All items for purchase are $2 - $0.25. Every month a fourth grade class will be stepping in to help run the store and in return a percentage of profits will be donated directly to the 4th grade committee with the rest used to restock the store for the next month.

All students may purchase up to $5 worth of items per transaction - no more. 🙂 Teachers/Paras will es**rt each class to the store during its hour of operation, and our Bus and YMCA students will also have an opportunity to purchase.

Please follow these guidelines to help the store run smoothly!:
* Items are priced between $0.25 to $2.00
* Small bills or change, please no bills over $5!
* Limit to $5 per child to spend
* One transaction per child

The Hannah PTO has partnered with Cue Math for a fun-filled Math Night on November 5th! The event is free but space is limited so please register!

Math isn't one skill. It's four.

​Join us for a free, hands-on evening where your child takes on four challenge tables, one for each of the four ways of being good at math.

​Meet the four Masters

​🥷 Number Ninja - speed and confidence with numbers
🧙 Why Wizard - seeing why the math actually works
🧭 Code Captain - spotting the math hiding in a real situation
🧩 Logic Legend - cracking a puzzle when there's no formula to follow

​How the night works

​Every child gets a MathFit Compass at the door. Clear a challenge and the Master stamps it. Four tables, four stamps.

​Once the Compass is full, take it to the last station and open a sealed card that names your child's MathFit profile - one of six, and every single one is written as a strength.

​Nothing is scored. Nothing is ranked. Nobody is compared to anybody else. Every child finishes, and every child leaves with something.

​Come and go at your own pace

​Drop in any time between 5:30 and 7:30. Do the tables in any order. Stay for twenty minutes or the whole two hours. Parents walk the tables alongside their child, so this is something you do together, not something you watch.

​What goes home
​The stamped Compass, everything made at all four tables, and the profile card - all in a Cuemath tote that's yours to keep.
