SAVE THE DATE!

Join us on Sunday, October 11, 2026, for a delicious pulled-pork sandwich lunch fundraiser benefiting the Big Valley Recreation District Community Pool.

The BVRD board would like to thank our community for supporting the pool throughout the 2026 swim season. We are one of the last pools in the Northstate not funded by water bills or property tax dollars. Without your support, there would be no community pool.

Our four lifeguards did a stellar job maintaining public safety, and having fun while doing their job well. Snakes, bats and mice didn’t stop them!

Special thanks to Beth Carpenter, Perry Copp,, Cliff Jacobsen, Abby Salters and Al Worden for your help in making life at the pool run efficiently and safely.

See you next summer!
