Pumpkins, swings & a corn maze… what a day! 🎃🌽

Today our preschoolers loaded up for a field trip to T & C Farms in Laurel, and they had the BEST time! They picked out their very own pumpkins, swung high on the amazing farm playground, and followed the leader through the tall corn maze. (Swipe to see all the big smiles! 👉)

Days like this are why we love getting kids outside. Our preschoolers practiced listening, took turns and stayed with the group, all while having a blast in the fresh fall air. 🍂

We had a surprise visitor today… and we passed with flying colors! 🎉

Our state licensor stopped in for an unannounced inspection today, and Big Timber Early Learning Academy passed with flying colors. We don’t just meet Montana’s child care standards. We go beyond them, every single day.

That’s because quality care isn’t something we pull out for inspection day. It’s how our classrooms run every day:

🌱 Teachers who know each child and track their growth with daily observations
🐔 Lots of time outside: our playground, the sandbox, and our chickens
📵 Very little screen time, so the day is spent playing, exploring and connecting

This win belongs to our amazing teachers. Your hard work, patience and love show up in every classroom, every day. Thank you for all you give our kids.

What a way to come back from a field trip!

When our preschoolers returned, they got an extra-special surprise -FIRETRUCKS! 🚒 The kids were so excited to get up close, see the trucks, and take in all the excitement.

Time on the playground helps build physical skills, confidence, creativity, and social connections while giving little ones a chance to get fresh air and burn off some energy.
