2๏ธโƒฃ0๏ธโƒฃ | We continue our Top 25 countdown with Number 20 in the Class of 2026 - Ivelissia Nunez-Thongthip! Ivelissia was a member of the lacrosse & cheer teams while also participating in National Honor Society, SADD, & Student Government. She plans to attend the University at Albany in the fall to study nursing. She reminds future students at BHS the importance of being kind to everyone! Congratulations, Ivelissia!

๐ŸŽ“ | Today's Senior Spotlight is Selena Ortiz! Selena plans to attend college in the fall to pursue a career as a pediatric nurse. During her time at BHS, Selena participated in the Southern Tier Teaching Academy and says going to different schools to meet & observe elementary students is a highlight of her time at Binghamton. Congratulations, Selena!

๐Ÿฅ | The Patriots Boys Lacrosse team caps off an amazing season with some well-deserved recognitions!

Senior Goalie Aidan Hurley earned the USA Lacrosse Bob Scott Award, the first Section IV player to win the award.

Coach Jack Brunner was named Coach of the Year by USA Lacrosse.

Junior Jayden Chin earned Sectional IV Division I First Team honors.

Kam Ash, Tristen Durham, & Carson Travis earned Section IV Division I Second Team honors.

Ty Miller & Eldar Turkovic earned Section IV Division I Third Team honors.

Congratulations to our Patriots on an incredible season - the future is bright in Binghamton!

๐Ÿ”ฌ | The return of the Science Fair to BHS! More than 70 students presented shared their findings with judges from Binghamton University, SUNY Broome, Syracuse University, Johns Hopkins University and the community. Their presentations were part of their Project-Based Learning Assessments. Impressive work from our students!

๐ŸŽ“ | Senior Spotlight! Dominic Geertgens is entering the workforce after graduation and is pursuing a career as a lighting technician for stage tours! Dominic worked tech crew for every Helen Foley Theatre stage production during his four years at BHS while also participating in band. He says a favorite memory is DJing the 2024 After Prom Party! Congratulations, Dominic!

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ | O say, can they play! 89 students representing all seven of our elementary schools performed the Star Spangled Banner before the start of Fridayโ€™s Binghamton Rumble Ponies game!

2๏ธโƒฃ1๏ธโƒฃ | Today's BHS Top 25 graduate is number 21, Faith Haile! Faith plans to go to college to study nursing in fall. She performed in orchestra & band during her time at Binghamton, as well as worked on the stage crew for theater productions. She encourages future BHS students to take full advantage of the amazing Library Media Center & its resources; she also says: "although academics are highly important, grades do not define you. If you fail one test, it is okay to dwell, but remember to dust it off and try again for the next one." Congratulations, Faith!
