Sharing some amazing photos of the Broome County Tuberculosis Hospital in Chenango Bridge which later became the Chenango Bridge nursing home. All of the buildings have been demolished and the land is privately owned. Photo credits and descriptions go to the Broome County Historical Society

Who remembers the ice rink project on River Road that almost didn't happen? There was much opposition from community members and the town board to change the zoning from residential to commercial. It failed to get the votes. Later the town did approve to change the zoning to recreational allowing the project to move forward. Here are some photos of the rink being constructed.

I’m up at the schoolhouse Museum today doing a little landscaping. Can anyone use some oregano or sage? The perennial garden has an abundance . Comment or message me if if you were interested in some.
