Lori is a true steward of the land. She transformed her backyard into a reforestation project, working to restore and stabilize her streambank through thoughtful tree planting. The growth and maturity of these trees stand as a testament to her dedication, care, and ongoing collaboration with our program. 🌲🌳

Happy to lend a hand with our friends at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Broome County as we plant replacement trees in the beautiful Cutler Botanic Garden. 🌱🌳

A severe wind storm last summer caused significant damage -snapping even healthy, mature trees across parts of Binghamton.

It’s great to be part of restoring and strengthening this community space. Looking forward to seeing these new trees grow for years to come!

Happy Earth Day! There are countless ways to make a meaningful difference for our environment 🌎

🌳 Plant a tree
🐝 Create a pollinator garden
🥾 Clean up trash on your road
🌱 Reduce food waste
💧Support conservation groups or local clean-up efforts
💡 Switch to LED bulbs or unplug devices you’re not using
🚲 Swap a short car trip for biking or walking when you can
🛍️ Cut back on single-use plastics

Even small habits, done consistently, matter more than one big gesture once a year.

We’re proud to partner with the Upper Susquehanna Coalition! 🌿

Check out this short video highlighting one of our project sites here in Broome County. Thanks to native plantings and wetland enhancements, this private property has become a thriving habitat for birds, insects, mammals, and amphibians—a true wildlife haven!

Stay tuned for more updates on how these efforts are making a difference. 🌎
