Join us for our Binghamton HistoryForge sessions throughout the summer!

HistoryForge is a digital project that maps Binghamton's history using transcribed census records to create an open access interactive map. All are welcome and refreshments will be provided!

3:30 - 5 p.m. June 5, July 10, and August 7 at Bartle Library.
6 - 8 p.m. June 18, July 23, and August 20 at the Phelps Mansion Museum.

The Libraries celebrates LGBTQ+ Pride Month with this list of recommended books in our collections.

Pride Month honors 1969’s Stonewall Uprising and recognizes the achievements of le***an, gay, bisexual, trans, q***r, intersex, asexual, and people with other q***r identities.

We encourage you to read works by and about LGBTQIA+ folks throughout the year!

Join Binghamton Libraries Special Collections 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday, May 4 in Libraries Special Collections (LN 2320) for the Book Arts Competition Exhibition.

The Book Arts competition celebrates the creativity of Binghamton University students and promotes engagement with the book arts. All submitted artwork for the 2026 Book Arts competition and artist’s statements will be exhibited.
