National Veterans Day Birmingham

On October 12, 2000, su***de terrorists exploded a small boat alongside the USS Cole—a Navy Destroyer—as it was refueling in the Yemeni port of Aden.

The blast ripped a 40-foot-wide hole near the waterline of the Cole, killing 17 American sailors and injuring many more.

Please help me honor all who selflessly sacrificed their lives so that they are not forgotten.

This will be a great event for veterans, families and community members!

Veterans resource, career fair is Thursday, April 10, at Finley Center About 90 companies ready to hire veterans and about 60 other organizations that help veterans are scheduled to be there.
