On Tuesday, April 14, 2026, AARP Chapter 4668 continued our wonderful day in Chattanooga with a visit to the Bessie Smith Cultural Center after our Southern Belle Lunch Cruise.
The experience was truly amazing! We explored rich history that highlighted music, civil rights, and culture. From the powerful legacy of Bessie Smith to the inspiring exhibits on the Civil Rights Movement, every moment was meaningful and educational.
One of the highlights was the incredible African art sectionโbeautiful, vibrant, and full of history that connected us to cultures across the globe.
It was a day of learning, reflection, and appreciation for the contributions and impact of African American history. โค๏ธ
