Great Opportunity for upcoming Juniors and Seniors!!!

Our Mustang Scholars attended four Youth & Peace in Action (YPA) Workshops to develop a plan on creating positive peace within our community and school. We are in the process of implementing a plan for the Mayor of Birmingham to address the community and student concerns with feral dogs and providing support to those whom are suffering/ traumatized by them. We are currently working on creating a proposal to address the issues, fundraising ideas, community outreach (surveys), and so much more! So, stay tuned for what's to come soon!!!

Our community partner is the Greater Birmingham Humane Society!

Tis’ the season to give service! The JOHS SGA rendered service to UAB sickle cell patients and their families. What a way to start the Christmas Season! Thanks to Sonja Smith for extending an invitation to us. We really enjoyed ourselves while servicing our community.
