Operation HOPE is hosting a virtual workshop for City of Birmingham employees designed to equip you with the knowledge and resources needed to begin your journey toward homeownership. The workshop will be held on May 8, 2026, at 11:30 a.m.
This informative session will feature trusted industry professionals from Operation HOPE, Trustmark, and Barnes and Associates Realtors. Employees will receive valuable information on topics including:
• Down Payment Assistance
• Preapproval vs. Prequalification
• VA Benefits
• Financial preparation for homeownership
The goal of this workshop is to provide employees with the tools, guidance, and confidence needed to pursue sustainable homeownership.
