An e-mail was sent out to families on our list serve yesterday with the date and time of our unit's homecoming. Your soldier should also have this information. We are asking that families and attendees not arrive more than one hour prior to the unit's expected arrival. We will have light snacks available and a station for people to make welcome home posters if they would like.
Homecoming is approaching. While exact details have not been finalized yet, we will make sure the families are notified as soon as things are set. If anyone has any suggestions for the homecoming ceremony, please let us know!!! We welcome all of your support and help.

You may wish to order these for your soldier. The banner itself is free, but you have to pay for shipping. Shipping fees are based on how soon you want the banner delivered. I paid $24 for 2 week shipping and received it within the same week. The banners are fairly large and good quality.

The Yellow Ribbon Ceremony originally scheduled for September 8-9 has been rescheduled to September 29-30 to allow families time to spend with each other. More information should be mailed out to families and should be available on the Joint Services Support website in the near future.

Just a reminder to please join us this Saturday December 17th at 1:30 for an informal Christmas get together at the unit's armory in Birmingham. Santa will be joining us and children can make a simple Christmas craft. Adults and teens may participate in the White Elephant game. We look forward to seeing you all there!
