One of the greatest rewards of serving as a Senior Member in the Cadet Program is watching the transformation of our cadets and waiting with anticipation to see them reach great success!
U.S. Coast Guard Cmdr. Justin Gear began his journey as a Civil Air Patrol cadet in our New Jersey Wing at age 13, then went on to Navy ROTC at Drexel University and officer candidate school for the Coast Guard. His Coastie career took him around the world, and he credits CAP for enabling him to serve.
If you are a former CAP cadet, reconnect with us at capalumni.org.
