We are halfway through our 123 Play With Me session!

We have 3 more sessions left until it comes back again in the spring!

What is 123 Play With Me? It is specifically designed for children ages 3 and under. We have numerous stations set up for the children to wander, explore, and play. Then, at the end of class we will sing some songs and read a book together.

Have any questions? Call us @ 205-226-4085.

Our STEM in Motion class with UAB Physical Therapy students was a blast!

We learned how physical therapists use engineering to help develop assistive devices for people who need help.

Children learned that for us to balance properly, we rely on our senses to keep us from falling down.

We used some counting and math skills to measure our heart rate before and after doing exercises. We learned that during exercise, our heartbeats go up.

Children learned that reaction times change the older you get. If you want to have a quick reaction time, you have to keep practicing.

Our next program with UAB, Become a Little Lab Scientist: Exploring the Science Inside Your Body, will be Tuesday, November 10th -7pm. The program lasts about an hour. Medical Laboratory Students will teach the children about what clinical laboratory scientists do through hands-on experiments.
