NATIONAL PUBLIC SAFETY TELECOMMUNICATORS WEEK

The Homewood Police Department would like to take a moment to recognize and honor all of our telecommunicators during National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week! We are so grateful for the professionalism and dedication they exhibit day in and day out - whether it's taking 911 calls from citizens or providing critical information to police and fire units responding to emergency calls. We could not do our jobs safely and effectively without their hard work each and every day.

👑🔥What better way to close out our final dress-up day than with a little royalty or rebellion? 👑🔥

Our Telecommunicators chose between crowns or chaos and absolutely delivered. From princesses to perfectly mischievous villains, the creativity (and sense of humor) was on full display.

Tuesday & Wednesday’s theme was Celebrate the Heroes! Our dispatchers showed up as Disney heroes and real-life hero, themselves - rocking their TC Week shirts!

A special thank you to Mountain Brook Fire Department Mountain Brook Police Department for providing a delicious meal to both day & night shift!

The Shelby County Sheriff's Office added a little pixie dust to our afternoon with perfectly timed Celsius!
