Welcoming two new faces to the OMMS Family this school year!
🎉 Please welcome Mr. David Ramirez, our new Paraeducator at Oak Mountain Middle School! 🦅
Mr. Ramirez is excited to join the OMMS community and looks forward to learning new strategies that will help him better engage, inspire, and support our students. He is especially excited about building meaningful relationships and making a positive, lasting impact in the lives of his students.
A fun fact about Mr. Ramirez is that he is a proud dad to twin five-year-olds! Outside of school, he enjoys drawing and fishing, two hobbies that allow him to relax, be creative, and enjoy the outdoors.
A quote that inspires him is: “Success is achieved when preparation meets opportunity.”

Ms. Horn is excited to join the OMMS community and looks forward to building positive relationships with students and making a meaningful difference in their school experience. She is passionate about helping create a safe, welcoming environment where every student feels valued and supported.
Outside of school, Ms. Horn enjoys spending time with family and friends, serving in ministry, arranging flowers, gardening, and enjoying sports!
A motto that inspires her is, “Keep going, even when the road gets difficult.” This reminds her that challenges are temporary and that consistency, patience, and a positive attitude can make a lasting difference. She strives to carry this mindset into her work and encourages students to believe in themselves, persevere through challenges, and never give up when things get difficult.
