Our amazing neighbors at Chick-fil-A Midtown Plaza regularly bring lunch for the women and children in our programs, and the excitement never fades. The moment the food comes through the doors, smiles light up the room.

It may seem like a simple meal, but moments like this remind our women that their community sees them, cares about them, and is walking alongside them on their journey.

🌧️ Rainy season is here and it has been WET lately!

With more rain expected this week, the women and children we serve are outside in these storms, and we need YOUR help keeping them dry. We’re collecting umbrellas & rain ponchos for our community at Pathways. Shop our Amazon Wishlist (link in bio!) to send them straight to us. Small act, big impact. ☂️

One thing about our community… when there’s a need, people show up 💛

We recently shared that we were in need of XL twin sheets for the women in our shelter, and Valley Christian Church immediately stepped in to help. They went straight to Walmart and purchased exactly what was needed without hesitation.

Acts of kindness like this may seem simple to some, but to our women, it means comfort, care, and knowing that people in this community truly see them.

The McPherson Family, led by their daughter’s very own diaper drive, recently came to Pathways with an incredible donation of diapers and baby wipes for the little ones in our care.

There is something so powerful about teaching the next generation the importance of kindness, compassion, and giving back to others. Seeing a young person use their heart and initiative to help families experiencing homelessness is truly inspiring.

Thank you to the McPherson Family for your generosity and for raising such a thoughtful child with such a big heart. Your kindness is making a real difference for the women and children we serve. ✨

During this visit, their team helped tackle our clothing closet, which is currently being updated, and organized every single item by size. What may seem like a simple task makes an incredible difference for the women we serve. Their attention to detail, teamwork, and willingness to jump in wherever needed was truly impactful.

Their team recently brought their mobile health unit out to Pathways and provided important preventative care services for the women we serve, including HIV testing and Narcan distribution. They also blessed our women with goodies to take home, making the day even more special.

A true Birmingham hometown hero stopped by Pathways! 💙

We were incredibly honored to receive a visit and generous donation from the Quinnen Williams Foundation. From brand new infant and children’s clothing to Nike two piece sweatsuits, our women and children were truly blessed by this kindness and generosity.

Quinnen Williams grew up right here in Birmingham and has never forgotten where he came from. There is something so special about seeing someone from our city achieve incredible success while continuing to give back and pour into the community that helped shape them.
