Exposure is not extra. It is part of how children and families discover what is possible.
Our Founder and President, Shay Renee Oden, recently joined Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Greater Birmingham for a parent workshop focused on exposure and access to resources.
Shay shared how intentional exposure can connect families to opportunities, supportive relationships, and tools they may not otherwise know exist. BBBS is a powerful example of that work in action. Their thoughtful matching process connects mentors and mentees based on compatibility, needs, and shared interests, helping young people build trusting relationships that expand their confidence, perspective, and possibilities.
We are grateful for the invitation and for organizations committed to surrounding families with strong networks and meaningful opportunities.
