Our offsite Momentum team meeting was full of meaningful conversations, fresh ideas, and even a few hidden talents we didn’t know we had. The best part? Creating a space where everyone felt comfortable sharing honest feedback, valuable insights, and thoughtful questions—that’s a win in our book.

We wrapped the day with a scavenger hunt through downtown Birmingham, exploring some of the city’s most historic landmarks—from the Redmont Hotel to Kelly Ingram Park and the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute, with plenty of memorable stops in between. Each challenge pushed us to collaborate, step into our individual strengths, and support one another along the way.

Moments like these remind us that strong teams are built both in the boardroom and beyond it. ✨

Wendy brings more than 18 years of experience in community engagement, education, and program leadership—serving in key roles where she’s led large-scale initiatives, built strong partnerships, and developed strategies that drive real results.

Her work has always centered around one thing: creating meaningful impact in communities. And now, she’s bringing that same passion to Momentum Leaders—helping us continue to empower and equip women through Momentum Works.
