The RESTORE Games was such a great community event filled with fun for everyone.

Family Court offices in the Birmingham and Bessemer divisions will be closed on today, Tuesday, January 16th due to the weather. All court hearings have been cancelled for today.

Effective Dec. 6th, Protection From Abuse (PFA) cases will no longer be handled at Family Court. PFA cases will now be handled at Domestic Relations Court.

Jefferson County Family Court (Birmingham & Bessemer) will be closed on Nov. 23rd - 24th for the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Congratulations to our Juvenile Probation Officer, Carrie Hill for receiving the “Outstanding Victim Protection in Countering Human Trafficking Award” from the Department of Homeland Security.

Family Court will be closed on today and Friday, December 24th in observance of the Christmas Holiday. We will resume normal operations on Monday, December 27th.
