Jefferson County EMA is proud to be conducting two CERT classes in Homewood in collaboration with the Catholic Diocese of Birmingham and Homewood Fire Department

We are especially proud to share that one of these CERT classes is made up entirely of Spanish-speaking participants, helping us expand preparedness training and meaningfully reach more members of our community.

Classes begin June 20 at Catholic Social Services on Oxmoor Road. Seats are still available in both the Spanish- and English-speaking classes. This is a great opportunity to learn practical emergency preparedness skills, support your community, and be better prepared to help when it matters most.
