Registration is now open for The Arthur & Eva Brown Youth Development Football Camp led by Coach Grady Brown.
The camp is open to ages 9–17 and will feature guest speakers including NFL coaches, NFL players, referees, college players, and local business owners.
Participants will receive a free t-shirt, breakfast, and lunch.
Camp takes place Saturday, June 20th at Wenonah High School, with registration beginning at 8:30 AM and camp running from 9:00 AM–1:00 PM.
Spots are limited to 200 participants, so be sure to register early.

Applications are now open for the TMCF HBCU Scholars Program at Lawson State Community College, a one-week residential experience for rising seniors in the Class of 2027.
The SOAR program will take place July 19th–24th, 2026 and is free for all participants. Students who complete the program will also receive a $100 gift card to support back-to-school purchases.
Eligibility requirements include being a rising senior, having a 2.5 GPA, a statement of interest, and a letter of recommendation.
Apply by scanning the QR Code by July 5th, 2026 to take advantage of this opportunity for academic growth and college preparation.

Registration is open for Camp Bethel’s Summer Enrichment Program for Summer 2026 ☀️📚 This program is designed for students in K–6th grade, offering a structured and engaging environment focused on academic growth and creativity.
Program runs June 8th–July 24th, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.
Students will participate in reading, mathematics, writing, arts and crafts, and field trips, all led by state-certified educators with a state-approved curriculum.
Be sure to register by scanning the QR code this is a great opportunity to keep students learning, active, and engaged all summer long.

Sign-ups are now underway for YMCA Summer Day Camp at the Downtown Youth Center, offering a fun and supportive environment where kids can build friendships, celebrate achievements, and grow throughout the summer.
Camp is available for rising 1st–8th grade students, with sessions running:
June 8–12 and July 6–10
June 15–18 and July 13–17
June 22–26 and July 20–24
June 29–July 2 and July 27–31
Hours are 7:00 AM–6:00 PM, including before and aftercare.
Pricing includes a $25 registration fee per child and a weekly fee of $146.

Registration is officially open for the Eureka! Teen Achievement Program with Girls Inc. of Central Alabama 👏🏾✨ This hands-on summer experience is perfect for rising 8th and 9th graders looking to build confidence, explore STEM, and grow as leaders while making new friends.
Summer camp dates:

July 6th–17th
7:30 AM–5:00 PM daily
