I. Celebrations
Welcome to Quarter Two! I'd like to celebrate all students who earned all A's and B's in the first quarter. I will be sending out our honor roll list in a separte posting tomorrow. Please know that we have our Q1 awards assembly this Thursday, Oct 22nd at 2:45pm. All students with A's and B's, perfect attendance, awesome character, and who did well on Quarter One benchmarks will be recognized! Way to go!

Announcement one:
Saturday, October 24th is our Love Our Schools event which will be hosted by our student council. We're inviting other student groups as well; however, you are welcome to come as a family, enjoy some pizza, soda, and music. Bring a dessert to share and help us paint our front fence. (event is 8:30am-noon)

Announcement two:
Saturday, Oct 24th is also our Jaguar Classic held at Bisbee High School. Friday: begins at 11am and Saturday at 9am.

Announcement three:
We will have Friday School from 8am-11am and Wednesday after school with a bus this week.

II. Logistics
A. Monday: Boys basketball practice in the gym, Girls SB practice at BHS
B. Tuesday: Yay school!
C. Wednesday: After school tutoring with a bus
D. Thursday: Awards ceremony in the Lowell School auditorium at 2:45pm
E. Friday: Fri school at Greenway (8am-11am), Lowell Jaguar Classic at 11am @ Bisbee High School
F. Saturday: Love Our Schools Day 8:30am-noon, Jaguar Classic at BHS starting 9am

Lowell September student of the month is 7th grader Janey Melendrez.

Janey is always willing to help in the classroom and is committed to her academics. She collaborates with her peers and confidently asks for help when needed. Her behavior is exemplary, and she sets a positive example for others.

Mr. McLain and I had such an amazing time coaching the volleyball team this season. We are so proud of what these athletes have accomplished and how much they grew in just two short months. This year our athletes consistently built each other up and supported one another. 5th grade took initiative in introducing shout outs at the end of every practice, to help build confidence and morale. I cannot wait to see what next year has in store for us. Way to go Lady Jags!

I. Celebrations....🎉🕺
I'd like to highlight, once again, what I saw from our football players in our intervention classes--uplifting each other and making sure their teammates' grades were in good standing. Well done, Coach Quiroz and coaching crew!

Give it up to Cross Country at their last meet! Matthew and Haven got in the top 20 out of the 46 varsity boys, total Haven 14th Matthew 15th, Aaron 26, Ameer 33. Total Boys, which include BT team was 87. So that’s pretty impressive! 6th grader Kennedy placed in the top half of the varsity girls race 22nd!

Volleyball shout out to follow later on Monday!

Thank you, Miss Peterson, for preparing our music students for our first concert of the year--this Wednes the 30th at 6pm! We hear them practicing every day and it sounds great.

SAVE THE DATE! We'd like to make our first announcement regarding our "Love our Schools" day event on Oct 24th, 8:30am-noon! We'd like to invite students, parents, and community members to help us clean up and paint our campus. The whole family is welcome! We'll have a signup sheet in the front office! More announcements, invitations, and a flyer to follow!

Come watch our band perform this Wednesday! Candy and snacks for kids of all ages!

Announcement three: ✍️📔
Our writing benchmark is also this Wednesday. 8am-noon. Students will remain in a single core classroom for the whole morning.
