🎃👻 LAST CHANCE TO SIGN UP FOR TRUNK OR TREAT! 🚗🍬

Calling all Inyo County departments, local businesses, schools, nonprofits, and community organizations!

We're looking for community partners to help make this year's LIFE Night: Trunk or Treat a fun and memorable experience for local children and families!

Decorate a trunk, host a fun activity, hand out treats, or get creative with your own Halloween-themed setup! 🎃

Today's flu clinic in Olancha has been postponed until Wednesday, October 14th!

🚒 We will now be offering FREE flu vaccines during the Olancha Fire Department's Open House event!

Sidekicks are BACK! 💛 We kicked off the new year by creating a collaborative tree of gratitude, where students added leaves sharing the things they’re thankful for. It was a fun way to start the year by building connections, practicing teamwork, and celebrating what matters most to us!

What is Sidekicks? Inyo County Sidekicks is a mini-mentoring program designed to provide selected students with extra one-on-one support in a safe, encouraging environment. Through meaningful conversations, students strengthen communication and social skills, build confidence and a sense of belonging, explore their values and goals, and develop positive friendships. 🍁


¡Han vuelto los Sidekicks! 💛 Comenzamos el año nuevo creando un árbol de gratitud colaborativo, donde los estudiantes añadieron hojas para compartir aquello por lo que se sienten agradecidos. ¡Fue una forma divertida de iniciar el año fomentando vínculos, practicando el trabajo en equipo y celebrando lo que más nos importa!

¿Qué es Sidekicks? Inyo County Sidekicks es un programa de mentoría a pequeña escala diseñado para brindar a estudiantes seleccionados apoyo individual adicional en un entorno seguro y motivador. A través de conversaciones significativas, los estudiantes fortalecen sus habilidades comunicativas y sociales, ganan confianza y sentido de pertenencia, exploran sus valores y metas, y cultivan amistades positivas. 🍁
