⚓🇺🇸 Happy 251st Birthday to the United States Navy! 🇺🇸⚓

On October 13, 1775, the Continental Navy was established, beginning a legacy of service, sacrifice, and dedication that continues today.

To all my fellow Sailors, past and present, thank you for your service and for carrying on the proud traditions of the United States Navy.

Once a Sailor, always a Sailor!

RED FRIDAY | PATRIOT DAY

From the frozen waters of the Delaware to the morning of September 11, 2001, our nation has faced moments that tested who we are.

Different generations. Different battles. But through them all, Americans have stepped forward when their country and their fellow citizens needed them most.

Today, on RED Friday, we Remember Everyone Deployed. On Patriot Day, we remember the innocent lives lost on September 11, the first responders who ran toward danger, and the men and women who answered our nation's call in the years that followed.

Service. Sacrifice. Courage.

From one generation of Patriots to the next, we remember those who came before us, honor those who serve today, and never forget those we lost.

🇺🇸 WE WILL NEVER FORGET.

Every Friday, we wear red for a simple reason: Remember Everyone Deployed.

Somewhere tonight, an American service member is standing watch, missing home, missing family, and doing the job they raised their hand and took an oath to do.

They may be thousands of miles away, but they are not forgotten here at home.

To every Soldier, Sailor, Marine, Airman, Guardian, and Coast Guardsman currently deployed and to the families counting the days until they return:

We see you. We appreciate you. We remember you.

Wear red today. Tell somebody why.

Until they ALL come home. 🇺🇸
Inyo & Mono County Veterans Service Officer, Gordon Greene.

Every Friday, I wear red.

For me, it’s more than a shirt and more than a slogan. It’s a reminder that while I’m here doing my job as the Inyo and Mono County Veterans Service Officer, American service members are deployed around the world, standing watch, carrying out their missions, and spending another day away from the people they love.

I have the privilege of serving veterans every day. On Fridays, I also want to make sure we remember the men and women who are still out there serving us.

So yeah, I wear RED.

And the fact that red happens to be my color is completely coincidental. 😏

Remember
Everyone
Deployed

Wear RED.

Until they all come home. 🇺🇸
