Our Early Vote precinct doesn’t sleep in on Saturdays, these doors will open at 9:00AM today, Saturday, October 24 & October 31, to welcome early voters to the Bismarck Event Center.

While you are out running errands, take a few moments to cast your ballot early!

𝗘𝗫𝗘𝗥𝗖𝗜𝗦𝗘 𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗘

On October 21st and 22nd, the Bismarck-based 81st Civil Support Team (CST) and local first responders will conduct joint training operations within the Bismarck metropolitan area. This planned exercise is designed to enhance multi-agency coordination and technical proficiency in hazardous materials response, ensuring the continued safety and security of our community through integration with state and federal partners.

Residents may observe a temporary increase in emergency vehicle traffic and personnel in specialized equipment throughout these dates. While most of the training will occur in isolated locations, some activity will be visible within the city limits. For public safety, we request that citizens maintain a respectful distance from any areas marked with "Exercise in Progress" or "TRAINING" signage.

We thank the public for their support of these vital readiness activities as we proactively work to enhance our regional emergency preparedness.

BNSF Railway update:

Beginning today, October 19, crews will work double shifts on the BNSF bridge project site to accelerate demolition progress this fall. The 24-hour work will occur Monday through Saturday up to Thanksgiving and then further assessment on shifts will be dictated by progress at that time.

🚨📻 Emergency Alert System Test 📺🚨

𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧: Tuesday, November 17, 2026, at 1:20 PM CST

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭: Radio and TV broadcasters nationwide will interrupt programming for about 1 minute to air the test message.

𝐌𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐞: "This is a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System, issued by the Federal Emergency Management Agency. This is only a test. No action is required by the public."

𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: None. FEMA is required to conduct a nationwide test of the public alert and warning system at least once every three years.
