As we begin another busy fall week, please keep Pope Leo XIV in your prayers. The Pope will undergo a procedure to have a lung nodule removed. The nodule was discovered during a recent routine health checkup and, according to health officials, most nodules of this type are non-cancerous.
He is set to be admitted to Gemelli Hospital tomorrow, October 13th.
Following the procedure, the Pope will remain in the hospital for about one week, according to the Vatican.
