GCDHS provides financial, food, medical, & child care benefits; along with services for children, youth, seniors & veterans. We are people who help people!

Gilpin County is a beautiful place to live and to raise children. However, the beauty of this County should not blind us to the needs that exist around us. A number of our neighbors need our help. From infant to the elderly, the adolescent to the vet, Gilpin County Human Services provides guidance, assistance and support to those at risk. Gilpin County Human Services is aware of the needs in this community. We help by providing financial, food, medical and child care benefits; assisting children, youth, adult, senior & veterans. We work hard to help those who need our assistance to become more self-sufficient and self-reliant. We offer these services respectfully and confidentially to members of our community.

Human Services is closing early today at 3:00 for a special event. You can still use the drop box between the two front doors if you need to turn something in. There are also applications available between the two front doors as well.

✏️ SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE 🎒

Help kids start the year ready to learn! Gilpin County is collecting essential school supplies to support our community's youth. Here is everything you need to know to donate or receive supplies:

🖍️ ITEMS NEEDED:
Crayola Crayons (name brand)

Colored Pencils

Markers

Notebook Paper

Backpacks

Pencils

Highlighters

Other Basic Supplies

📍 DROP-OFF LOCATIONS:
Food Pantry or Human Services Office: Items can be dropped off anytime between the two doors.

Community Center: Please drop off during operating hours only.
